Request for Prayer for Denise!

Hello Fight for Denise followers!  Denise had been doing so well lately that I was hoping I would not have to update this blog again, but unfortunately she has had a setback in this last week.  She has an infection in her right arm -the arm that she has fought the lymphedema in- that is possibly MRSA.  The cultures will not be back for a few more days to know for sure, but she was put in the hospital for the doctors to remove the infection immediately before it spread to the rest of her body.  She will be in the hospital through Monday for sure.  She has been getting antibiotics through her port everyday this week as well.

Please pray for the infection, that Denise's body will rid itself of it through the removal as well as the antibiotics.  Please also pray for Denise and her spirits- she has been through so much and sounds so positive but is understandably frustrated by this new health event!  Thanks in advance for the prayers, and I will post an update very soon!

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24

  1. So, let me get this straight. You arrogantly state, "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24"

Clearly there are plenty of deluded religious people "believe that [they] have received it," so your imaginary god has no excuse for not putting up or shutting up.

If things don't fare well for this woman then you must necessarily admit that prayer is a sham. And if you don't, claiming that god chose not to bring those prayers to fruition, then you must necessarily admit that you've set up the rules of logic and circumstance so as to protect the efficacy of prayer from any kind of skeptical inquiry.

You're all a bunch of cowards who want to have your cake and eat it to. She gets well, praise god. She doesn't get well, it's god's will - but praise him anyway.

    1. Yes we praise Him! We are His children. Whatever the outcome for Denise, it is His will. We are cowards? I pray for you, for judgement day is coming. At least, I know I will see my friend in heaven some day. We will have eternal life with our Father.
